I am wiring a standby generator with propane tank at a residence in mass, are there any codes on location of the gen? I was going to remove the feed from the meter to the panel and feed it to the ats that i am going to mount beside the existing panel, then bring the 2 appropriate feeds from the ats to the gen, and the panel. Does there need to be any disconnects anywhere along these 3 feed wires? Also the generator calls for low voltage signal wires, can i run these wires with the high voltage wires if i use thhn wires?

Unless your ATS is "Service Rated" (in which case I believe it will have OCP), you will need a service disconnect between the meter and your ATS,
In addition, unless your generator breaker meets the requirements of 702.11, you will need a disconnect for that feed at the building per 225.31.

I thought someone had shown where the control circuits, if they were Class 2 or 3, could share the conduits with Class 1 provided they were Class 1 wiring methods, but so far I am unable to substantiate that with Art 725.130. Perhaps someone can assist.

Gus, I think that since 725.130 takes you back to Art. 3 that the wording of 300.3 (C)(1) allows it.
The breaker on the gen. would also have to meet the requirements of 445.18
