Installing a Reliance 30 amp generator transfer kit this week. I’m considering installing an Easy Start Kit to my home AC to decrease initial amp draw on start up so I might be able to use my 6000/5000 generator to power it during our frequent outages here in Texas. My question is, the transfer box has 1-240 breaker and 4 -120 breakers. Any reason to believe I wouldn’t be able to run my AC if the easy start kit does indeed drop the start up voltage as advertised? Thanks in advance for any advice.
