Generator Receptacle

How much time would you include to remove a generator receptacle?
How much to install another one?

I figure the install is double the demo, but I have no units in our labor manual...any advice you guys have would be greatly appreciated.

Are you removing just the device and replacing them?

The box in the second photo will need to be supported, unless there is support we cannot see in the photo.

It is a remove and replace with a newer receptacle. Yes the 2nd one will need to be supported.

It will be more then double the labor to install, seeing how you are going to have to do something for support on the 2nd pic.

If that is a 400 amp receptacle it ain't gonna be fun. I mean look at it. 3 500 kcmil's minimum that you are going to have to get loose from the existing receptacle. (set screws if you're lucky. I've seen soldered connections.) Work them back into the proper pin retighten or re-solder and close it back up.
I would say 2 men (cause 1 man can't fight all that) 5 hours minimum if you don't have to support it. (I won't tell if you don't.) And that is only if you don't have to re-pull new wire. You may have some slack to work with but I wouldn't count on it.
