I've read some of the previous posts about this and I am still confused.
If I have an standby outdoor generator (SDS via 4P ATS) that is in a yard attached to a building that it is serving, does the generator's GES need to tie into the building's GES? The engineer wants to install a single ground rod and call it done. If this is true, I'd imagine 2 rods would be the way to meet the <25ohm req. What if there is no MB on the generator?
TIA!
