The job has a detached generator as an option power system. The transfer switch does switch the neutral.
The disconnect on the generator is not service rated.
A system bonding jumper sized per 250.66 is installed between the generator grounded conductor and the frame and two ground rods are also connected to the grounded conductor at the generator.
From the generator the phase conductors and ground conductor are routed to a service rated disconnect at the premises.
An equipment grounding conductor based on the generator OCP is routed with the supply conductors and is bonded to the premises disconnect.
In addition a connection is made from this EGC to the premises grounding electrode system. No connection is made between the grounded conductor and grounding conductor at the premises.
Doe this sound correct ?

This is where the description falls short of the mark ,. I don't understand what this says.

My error, M.D. I edited removing the excess "is made"

Now:

No connection is made between the grounded conductor and grounding conductor at the premises.

That is pretty common for a portable generator connection. Usually the N-G bond is at the generator, and you remove it if needed. Instructions should always be posted at the connection point.

As to if it is the "right" way, it really depends on your comfort with the portable wiring. I prefer to be able to have GFI at the generator to protect the cables, as nicks are far too common.
