Have a 1500KW Diesel generator that failed the 2nd half of the start up test as required by NFPA 110. Basically after start up with a normal load and then a cooling off period of 5 minutes a 100% load(load bank) was applied and the generator was only able to handle 850KW in the acceptable limits. Any thoughts or suggestions? Some of this info is second hand so please ask any questions about info that maybe missing.
