Today we tapped a 480v 3 phase line that is fed from a generator. The tap goes to a 480v primary / 120/208 secondary transformer. There was no neutral on the 480v side. Now when on generator power we have lights ( MH ) flickering and going off and on. When we switch back to utility no problem. Generator running fine only 37kw load on a 100kw generator. What could be going on? Transformer was fed from same switch gear as the other 480v line.

What is the voltage of the fixtures 120 volts? Is it possible that the transformer X0 is not properly bonded?

Yes, 120v on the lights. Every thing ran fine before we tapped the 480v generator line. Every thing runs fine when we are on utility. Its just on gen power
that is now causing a problem.
