hi there ,

I have a little strange request about my comuster want to put a transfer switch but this sisuation, i am feel i am little bind with this one because this set up is driving me nuts.

anyway i will cut to chase here ,,,

this location have 200 A meter pesteal with two 100 amp breaker in there and i try to figure out what is the best route for set up a "outdoor" tranfer switch becasue this comuster want both house and garage power be on the generator hook up and he will use large portable generator .

the meterpedstal is Milbank type so if you have some idea or what is the guideline with this set up and i am not sure if it is fesitble to use " double transfer switch " set up

thanks , marc

If the meter and 200A main are connected, such that you can't get the transfer switch in the middle, then you will need to install (2) 100A transfer switches downstream of the (2) 100A distribution breakers.
