We are in the process of bidding a job with a generator 105 KW Katolight. The specs call that the gen shall have UL 2200 listing. Our quote states that the new gen is not UL 2200 listed. Im hoping someone can give some info on the UL 2200 listing. Thanks again your help is greatly appreciated.

That UL Listing is releatively new. Many manufacturers have not had their equipment inspected and listed for that standard. If the specification calls for the UL listing, then you will not be selected (unless they don't understand why they selected that in the specification). Can you select another manufacturer or compliant model of the same manufacturer?

The listing has been out since 1999. Washington State now requires all gensets to be UL listed
