Generator wiring

Working within the Boros of NYC- Are we allowed to install the wiring for a Gen-Plug in the same conduit as a sub-panel. Yes it is related to the Gen plug by way of the MTS (manual transfer Switch)?

Outside NYC the generator wires would be OCPD protected and not service wires, therefore OK to share a raceway with non-service wires (post main disconnect).
If the only OCPD is the main breaker after the transfer switch then the spirit of the rule would disallow it but the letter of the rule would not. The generator output is inherently current limited.

This does not consider any NYC local amendments or codes.

Thanks GoldDigger! What Code section would this be explained from?

I can't think of any restrictions either given that this is an optional standby system as Bob mentioned.
