IF a diesle generator has an arc flash label "HC DANGEROUS" on the electric gen end and the gen gets started at the transfer switch that also closes a 2000 amp breaker on gen startup, [transfer switch is a HC dangerous also]. How can this be started safe as per 70E ? Switch gear is rated HC 4. Generator startup could be for testing online or offline.

Use a remote operator for the switch

Would it be that when the generator is operating there is hazardous condition and ppe is needed if practical or we need a remote switch ? Thanks foe the resonse
