I have not seen it yet but have been called to look at a used standby genset 230/460 volt bought at auction. Is there a transformer out there to get it to 120/208?? Done some looking to no avail.

from looking at this http://www.mgmtransformer.com/pdf/cases/ysnp.pdf you can set the primary taps to 456. Seems like most 480v-->120/208Y would be able to accomodate you

If it is a 12 lead generator you should be able to change the output to several different voltages of your choice.
If you can find the re-connection diagrams.......
