Looking for some info.
In the realm of general portable generators 5k-10k watt w/ 1ph 120/240v, are there any issues to be aware of when say using a 240/1ph to 240/3ph converter (like a vfd) to drive a 3ph motor? Are the vfd's input sensitive to generator power?
As an aside Q, anyone use these ATO converters before? Pros vs Cons, pricing ok?
And then anyone using these unknown china brands with success (any brand from amzon)?
I have a project for converting a drill press motor to a 240/3ph motor w/ speed control.
