I have a client who has 120/240V 3 phase 4 wire, with high leg on C phase. Is it possible to procure a 120/240V 3 phase 4 wire generator than can supply high leg, or are generators usually just 240V 3 phase?

To answer your question, yes.

We installed a Generac years ago with that arrangement. My folks have an older military surplus gen backing up their dairy that is a high leg too.

As dkidd stated, they can be configured for it. I had a used Kohler that I installed on a building, it came 277/480, Changed it to 120/240 delta to match the building power. Be wary of Genercraps, as a lot of them cannot be converted.

Ah I stand corrected. I was thinking of my rental units which are switchable 277/480 | 120/208 | 120/240-1ph. I hadn't considered alternate wiring arrangements for the 12 lead alternator itself.

Yes. I installed a 55KW Generac unit at a day camp intended just to run the pool motors (4 motors total + chlorine pumps - 2 swimming pools)). If there is a power outage and the pumps aren't running the PH factor in the pools goes down in about 20-30 minutes in the summer heat.
