Cust. wants to install a 50KVA generator for optional back up power outdoors, for 1 commercial building. Because of limited space he wants to go thru the first building (he owns both) to supply the second building. Is this legal. These are feeders not service entrance right? Thanks Denny

You can do it but there will have to be a disconnecting means where the conductors enter each building.
