Generic Landscape Lighting Transformer

Does anyone know where I can find a generic outdoor rated landscape lighting transformer. 300W will be plenty - 120VAC primary, 12VAC secondary. 13-15V secondary taps would be nice, but not necessary. I found some good landscape lights at landscapelightingworld.com, but their 300W transformer is $197, and has bells and whistles I don't need, like photocell and timer receptacles. Plus, it is huge. Has anyone used a generic transformer for their landscape/low voltage lighting? Thanks in advance for the help.

They make 300W electronic transformers that you can stick in a 4x4 box. And they run for 40-50 bucks. Plus 10-15 for a 4x4 PVC box.

Big Orange sells the Malibu (low end) xmfrs. Not sure you'll get the 13-15v option. You'll probably have to go to a supply house to buy a Hadco 300 watt xfmr that has 11-13v taps. Not sure how much it is but it's a pretty good unit. Nightscaping and Kitchler also make landscaping xfmrs.
