GF protection

Anyone know what year the requirent for GF protection for 150-600V 1000A and above disconnects was put in the NEC? Would a facillity built before this be "grandfathered"?

My oldest code book dates back the 1987 NEC and 230-95 is present in that book.

Thanks infinity, I think the facillity was built in 1988, so that should do it.

Per the handbook, GF protection on services was first required in the 1971 code.
