Even though an AFCI does have GF sensing (around 30ma)as a part of its AFCI protection it does not provide the "people" protection that a 5ma GFCI provides. As such, the AFCI doesn't qualify as a GFCI protecive device.
I haven't seen it offered yet but there may be a combination device being developed that would cover both requirements.

Cutler Hammer is the only manufactuer to date that offers an AFCI/GFCI combination breaker. Maybe they will sell me the patent rights?????

The required GFCI protected receptacle circuit required in the bathroom can't be shared with the bedroom anyway. So what was the question?
