Can I add an outdoor GFCI receptacle to an existing AFCI circuit?

I dont see why not as long as the method its wired and connected. A gfci can be on an afci circuit.

I do it all the time when upgrading an old service were the exsisting wiring does not contain a ground. I install an arc fault breaker with a blank face GFI at the panel to meet code.

afci tripping for no reason

afci tripping for no reason

does anyone have trouble with afci breakers tripping for no reason. someone said it was the 60 hertz making it trip. That 50hertz breaker is being made to solve the problem.
