Our bottling line machines ar all 3 phase 240 and 480. The line is run in wet conditions and also machines are subject to washdown. In our current facility they are are not GFCI protected for people protection. We are relocating this equipment to a new facility. Should these machines be GFCI protected? The operators are standing on a wet floor and water is spraying during operation.
What does the NEC say for this? I checked out the handbook but am not sure how we are categorized in this situation.
