Gfci and Gfpe

Looking at the miliamp rating of gfci and gfpe, I would assume that gfci can be used as gfpe, but gfpe can NOT be used in place of a gfci. Is my assumation correct??

I don't see a code issue with using a 6mA GFCI where 30mA GFPE is required, but you may have a design issue with nuisance tripping.

Equipment is permitted a certain amount of leakage, and _capacitive_ coupling to ground is unavoidable.
