I have an area of the plant which requires explosion proof plugs for Coppus Blowers, Lights or any other portable equipment in the area due to being Class 1 Div 2. In addition, there is a potential for this portable equipment to become wet. Question: Is there a GFCI available for use with Explosion proof equipment? If not, how is this normally handled in the oil, chemical and mining industry? Any input would be appreciated.

Try Crouse-Hinds "GFS" device. I would expect that it would be cheaper to use a GFCI breaker at the panel. www.crouse-hinds.com
