This change reinstates the 1999 code language requiring GFCI protection on single-phase hard wired pump motors to ensure safety for swimming pool users.

Had some electricians arguing until I caught one side interchanging the terms 'ground-fault protected' with 'ground-fault circuit-interrupter'.

I also always gfci protected them in the past.
