I had posted a question previously on GFCI's humming. I got the answer today.............................Inside the GFCI there is a small coil that reacts to differences in current flowing through it............................It receives electrical interferences sometimes and this causes the humming.................................Also, if the circuit is connected to a light which has a ballast this will make the coil hum also..................is that interesting or what ?
