I have a quick GFCI question - i have a small engine garage that has an outlet in the rear of the bay. It usually has an air monitoring device plugged into it, and is chest height, respectively. I sometimes have standing water on the floor due to roof leak overhead. Am I required to have a GFCI on this outlet? NEC 511.12, maybe??

I responded to your pm and stated that you are required to have gfci protection and you should want one, especially since water is involved.

I believe all the receptacles in that area require gfci
