I would like to wire 4 15a gfci's to a outside panel board .It's for 4 diesel truck heaters.I have a 100a sub feed panel with 16 openings.do i need to run separate neutrals to each one? I have 4 gfci receptacles ,covers ,etc.separate breakers for each.I don't want to create an imbalance and have unwanted tripping.I will use the correct size j box to branch from thanks...

If you are using GFI receps instead of breakers, you don't need separate neutrals, so using MWBCs will work.

If you are using breakers instead, you'll need to use 2-pole breakers if you want to use MWBCs.

If you use 4 GFI breakers, you'll need 4 neutrals.

Makes a difference if GFCI CBs or Receptacles.
If CB's, you can not share neutrals as the GFCI will trip.
Receptacles no problem. Recpts may be better if trip then trucker does not have to get into panel.

Personally I would go with GFCI receptacles. This allows you to use MWBC's which will save wire, and the cost of the receptacles v. the breakers is another big savings.

we did a set up like this last winter and we use GFI rec which allowed for MWBC saving wire and breaker cost.

I prefer the gfi receptacle over the gfi breaker because when it trips you don't have to go hunting to find it, and if it trips again you are right there to figure out why.
