My company has purchased a 480V 3 phase power washer on wheels. it's basically a 10hp 3hpase 480 motor and pump on a set of wheels with a 480v 3phase pigtail on motor from factory and that's it. Boss wants me to wire it up in a wash bay they have setup. I can mount it permanent and run conduit to it or wire it into a wall mounted box. I'm sure if it is corded with a plug it needs a machine mounted or inline GFCI. Does it need a GFCI if its hardwired and grounded, not sure with current NEC. Any thoughts on this. Thank you.
