gfci protected receptacles

Is there a maximum number of receptacles that can be protected by (1) gfci receptacle; kitchens, bathrooms, garages, and/or outside boxes? I know I need at least 2 SA circuits in the kitchen and I am not combining any of said locations with the others.

Onlt if the manufacturer specifies it. See 110.3(B). Also, bare in mind the 180VA per strap limitation.

Sorry Ryan, this is a dwelling unit (I assume) so the 180 VA does not apply.

The only limit as to how many receptacles a GFCI can protect is what the manufacture allows in there instructions. As Ryan has pointed out.
