All - I could use some help. I have been dealing with this issue for two weeks.
I have several welding machines powered via 90a/2p circuit with welding receptacle and disconnect switch. The inspector is requiring GFCI protection for the welding circuits.
A little history:
Working with Square-D I thought we had a solution. In essence we would provide a 90A/2p CB with a shunt trip that would be activated by an external relay to the panel mounted on a din rail. Well, apparently the 90A/2P is obsolete. Also, the Vigirex Ground Relay only has a pick-up range of 30ma which is for equipment protection only.
I was told to seek out a third party solution through Bender. I do not know anything about Bender.
Any help would be much appreciated.
