GFCI Protection required for Conventions & expos?

Is GFCI protection required, by NEC, for Convention and Expos having water features and other electrical within 6 feet of wet location?

The 2011 NEC section 518.3(B) clarified that GFCI protection required in 590.6 does not apply to temporary wiring of convention centers and expos but all other GFCI requirements of the NEC apply.

So all the locations specified in 210.8 would required GFCI protection as well as the GFCI protection requirements of Article 680 and 682.
