Gfci readily accessible?

2014 Nec 210.8 gfci is supposed to be readily accessible. I saw this job where a drinking fountain is installed without the gfci readily accessible. I was told that technically 422.52 does not require it. Is this true ? I know thos is splitting hairs but i believe the intent was for the monthly test of the gfci. So doesn't the requirement apply to 422.52

The readily accessible applies to 210.8 so the drinking fountain does not apply IMO.

K. Soon after i posted that question i found my answer. 422.5 makes the drinking fountain gfci required to be readily accessible.

That is correct-- The provisions of 210.8 do not apply however since 422.5- which is new to 2014 NEC- requires the gfci to be readily accessible for appliances in this section then it must be readily accessible for the drinking fountain.
