I have duplex 120V 20 amps GFCI receptacle on roof in weatherproof enclosure on roof for HVAC equipment. The receptacle branch circuit equipment grounding conductor is metal conduit i.e. no insulated wire equipment grounding conductor is provided in the conduit.
I know for isolated receptacle needs to be wire equipment grounding conductor but do I need insulated wire equipment grounding conductor for gfci receptacle or metal conduit as EGC is good?
