GFCI recepticles

I can not find a limit on the number of recepticles allowed to be protected from a GFCI recepticle in the NEC. An information paper with a 20amp GFCI says 2. I did not see this with a 15amp GFCI. Can someone give me an article number.

If the manufacturer says two, then two it is.

With the exception of 110.3(B), this is not an NEC issue
