GFCI required for Floor boxes?

I don't see anything in the NEC requiring a GFCI to be provided in floor boxes and wanted to check here to see if anyone had heard of this.

A floor box alone won't require a GFCI. It's location within the structure, however, might.

210.8 requires GFCI protection in areas mentioned within 210.8. It doesn't require the protection device to be at the receptacle location just that the receptacle is to be protected by a GFCI. Circuit breaker type GFCI or feed thru of the circuit from another GFCI device will provide that protection if needed.
