GFCI required ?

Thanks. But I guess the 'subjective' arguement would be the 'permanent provisions' wording. they will have a microwaves, coffee pot and toaster. . Are they considered permanent?? there is no stove. There is a sink but it is more than 6ft away.

The 2020 change that applies to break rooms is the additon of "either" and "or". If you have a sink and a countertop you trigger the requirement for GFCIs under the 2020. "for either food preparation or cooking". The countertop is a permanent provision for for food preparation.
