I was told by my supplier that OSHA has made new standards regarding GFCI protection for Extension cords. This requires a new GFCI device. Please explain the change and let me know about the new proctectors.
I believe someone has given you some false or at least misleading information.
I have performed a complete search of the OSHA website for any new chages to regulations. I found nothing.
Is it possible they were talking about construction sites or use of extension cords outside? I don't think this would be such a bad idea, but as far as I have been made aware, not a new requirment.
