GFI for a water fountain

Does a Water fountain and or Water cooler have to be GFI protected?

depending on the Code cycle enforced,.,, 410.52 was added in '08 NEC

Section 422.52 is new in the 2008 NEC. If you are on the 2005 NEC look at section 210.8 (A) & (B) for receptacle requirements for cord and plug connected coolers.

Where's the requirement for water coolers? 422.52 is for drinking fountains not water coolers.
