We have a large grocery distribution facility/warehouse. In the facility, there is a -10 deg. F perishable warehouse area adjacent to a +34 deg. F perishable loading dock area.
Doors between the warehouse and dock are large "barn door" type - manually pulled open & closed. These doors have heaters built into them by the door manufacturer, and require 120 V circuits.
Do these 120V circuits require GFCI ( GFI ) protection per NEC 2011? Code reference?

Thank you in advance!
