In a non residential storage area with a floor drain, a large number of items can be stored that may have snow or rain on them. The area has a floor drain, and there would be water covering the floor from the melted snow and rain. Do receptacles in the area need to be GFI to protect people working in this area? Please indicate the basis for your response.

Would I install a GFCI? Probably as most any use would require the use of a GFCI. Does the code require it? I don't think this is a wet location, so the code does not require it.

Nevermind I though it said residential-- In that case I agree with Don and I certainly would install a gfci.
