Could someone tell me when GFI outlets were required in kitchens? I went into a house today and expected GFI's along the counter around the sink. Customer said the house was built in the 70's. Wasn't sure if GFI's were taken out when outlets were replaced, or if they were required then. I was wiring back then, but don't remember having to put them in. Thanks
