That "falls on the listing" of the GFI, but it's a high number. Supposedly the Cooper's were rated at 7 outlets, but I think that's because Cooper like selling GFI's.
I'm always in favor of using GFI protection around water. Code or not. That doesn't mean I always protect exterior lighting fixtures or anything else all the time if it's not required either though. But often I will.
Yeah, I figured there was nothign that prohibited lighting from being GFI'ed--I was just curious if there was any ligthing outlets that were *required* to be GFI'ed. I'm just trying to figuer out why there's 3 GFI's in this kitchen...I think the third one might go to under cabinet lighting, unless there is 3 circuits in the kitch. Maybe I should just push the test button and see what happpens.
