GFP Protection for Roof Heat Tape.

Hello Everyone,

I know that under the NEC, receptacles need to be GFI protected when outdoors. I believe there is an exception for receptacles dedicated for heat tape to have 30ma GFP protection.

My question is, do I need 30ma GFP protection for hard wired heat tape systems?
