I have a 4 story building that I am doing a estimate for snow de-iceing heat trace. The first phase of the job will entail 1200 linear feet of heat trace. I am using Raychem 12 watts/ft trace. My problem is that the 4th fl electrical closet has Siemens Panels, one 225amp 110/208v 3 phase and one 225amp 277/480v. 3 phase panel. The future phases of the job could go up to 6000 linear feet or more. I would like to utilize the 277v. eventually or right away but Siemens does not make GFPD or PE breakers with a 30miliamp setting for the 277/480v panel. I was wondering if anyone knows who does make GFPD breakers for 277v. applications. Raychem does not really stand behind their controllers w/GFPD protection because of nuisance tripping, as nice as this sounds; they recommend using other GFPD protection other than their own controllers.

Found this on Raychem's website. www.tycothermal.com/assets/NorthAmerica/277 GFPD.pdf

Thanks Steve...This is where I am ordering the controls from, this is the place that recommended not using their own controllers for GFPE protection. I've already talked to their techs, it looks to me that square D is the only place that offers any kind of GFPE devices for 277 volt. Will probably use Tyco's controller to operate a large 3 pole contactor and maybe use a square d 480 volt panel w/ GFPE breakers if I can locate them.
