Looking for the requirements for Low and high voltage glove testing. I think it is every 6 months but when I look at the cost of testing the low voltage gloves I could almost purchase new ones. Looking for the specific regulation that pertain to testing frequency.

OSHA 1910.137 covers this, ASTM D120 gives in depth procedures. 6 months is basically correct, sooner if you suspect they are damaged, 12 months if they are not issued to anyone. Testing only costs a fraction of purchasing new ones, you must be looking in the wrong place. Check your PM for a contact for testing these gloves, best pricing I have ever found.

I believe six months is the rule- here is an easy way to handle it- buy 2 sets of gloves- one set of one color, one set of another color, about 4 months apart. Then you can rotate gloves out for testing without interuption and yes, testing is much cheaper than purchsing new gloves.
