My first post but long time lurker..

I own own a facilities maintenance business and just got a corporate electrical license and hired a Master electrician to over see the electrical work we will be doing. Personally I have a lot of electrical experience and have worked for serval electrical companies and have gone to school also so I know the trade well. I want to get a better idea of what other companies are paying their employees in the Northeast (NH and MA). I hired the Master at $35 per hour. My thoughts are Apprentice/Helper $16 to $22... Journeymen $25 to $28. Master $30 to $35. Am I close.
I like to be on the higher end of the pay scale for the right people. I put a few ads out for a licensed guy and have not gotten many responses at all. Seems like slim pickings out there right now.

Go to salary dot com and enter your job title and zip code. Follow the prompts for the "free" report and you'll get some good information. FWIW, you might get better response if you had posted this in the business section.

Salary.com has electrician II at $26 per hour. Says 2 to 5 years experience.

I was hoping for some real world local numbers.

The prevailing rates help some.
