Gold plated PC board terminals

Probably not so new of a subject but.... I'm new to the forum. I have a gabillion or so tiny gold plated terminals off of a bunch of PC boards. Most people and jewelers are telling me they're of no value. However, a couple people are telling me they're worth messing with if I find the right person. Well I'm looking for some guidance. I can't bring myself to give up on it when I know it's gold and gold IS valuable. Any help?

The recyclers of PC boards deal with this stuff by the ton to make any real money. I worked for a connector manufacturer in a plating plant for a good long while, and I think I can safely say that there's probably not enough gold for you to fool around with on those connectors unless you have some serious tonnage. A coffee cup of gold salts in a plating bath would plate millions and millions of terminals.
