A good meter does not lie to us. What you see is what you get (WYSIWYG). In threads like these and others:

posters keep saying a person only sees something on their meter/scope because of the way the connections are made and that what they see it is not what is really there. That is misleading to our members and might make some not trust what they are seeing.
Our meters are not designed to lie to us. The meter is showing you exactly what is there because that is what it is designed to do. The critical part is to be sure of what you are measuring.
If you think it is showing you something other than what is there, you do not understand the proper use of the meter and need to study up. There are many knowledgeable members here that can help.
