I have friend employed by/at the local National Guard Armory. Within in the next year I plan to take the leap into contracting. He has informed me that his list of contractors (provided by the state I believe) to call for service work is down to two. That alone leaves me suspicious. He tells me it's because they don't keep their paperwork up, something to do with the secretary of state? My question is what are the pros and cons of this sector of work and what requirements as a contractor do I need to fulfill to become eligible (if I choose) for this type of work?
Thankyou in advance,
