They're yellow on my screen. Maybe your monitor or video card is on the fritz?

Seriously, the one in my original post shows gray - both now that it is posted and on the sidebar when I am replying.

The smiley Icon at the bottom (post icons bar) and the Triangle with the exclaimation point both show yellow... weird

Time for a new monitor.

Go try PCPitstop.com , it should just tell you its monitor or the color card,
be sure to read intro-, & drop firewall / & other security ...

You have made the electrical Gods' angry!

Today...it's the "smiley's ....
tom'row, the monitor....
Wedensday, the TV....
Thursday, your lightbulbs....
Friday, your GPS and speedo...

All electrical apparati in your home and car will revert back to grayscale until you have made an appropiate and acceptable sacrifice to the electrical Gods.

this is all gray on my monitor. The "post reply" at the bottom left is fine (red), the Aviators are fine (multi-colored). other websites and off line are fine. Just the items inside the forum posts. weird.........

Gray Smiley figured out!!

Gray Smiley figured out!!

I know you cannot sleep until you hear what happened.....

I saved the "code forum" page on my favorites in Internet Explorer. When I click on it, it takes me directly to the forum, bypassing Mike's home page. ( I had been going to the home page, then to code forum from the menu on the left side of the home page.)

For some reason, the yellow and red smilies were all varying shades of gray.

I right-clicked the mouse, went to the bottom of the pop up menu and hit "refresh page with full quality", and Ta-Da! Yellow and red smilies are back!!

OK, you can hit the sack now. It's 9:30pm on the Left Coast, so it's after midnight for you Eastener's. I know you will sleep better now!!!

"There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image, make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur, or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to... The Outer Limits."
