So it has been years since I have had to do a load calc. It is for a commercial green house, anyone ever done a load calc. for one, or any suggestions?

Any questions, let me know. And thanks.

I have installed systems in greenhouses. But as far as doing the load calculation, I did not do this. Each one that I wired got a 200A service. Things to consider if this helps...2 gable exhaust fans, one gas furnace fan, about 16 duplexe receptacle outlets (gfci), 2 circuits for the enviro controller, 1 circuit for 8 jelly jar fixtures ( the house had no "grow" lighting) and 1 circuit for a gravity/ water cooling pump. That's about it. The last one was about 30' x 70'. These are one of the easiest structures you will ever do an install on!!

What kind of stuff is in it? AHUs or fans? Lights? Plugs?

I'd say just go through Article 220 and pick through all the pertinent sections. If the green house is part of a farm, you might be able to make calculations per Part V of Article 220 (starts at 220.100).

In general though I'd say just calculate your general receptacle load, all the nameplate ratings of whatever equipment is installed, your lighting, etc. (don't forget extra 25% of largest motor if continuous), and add 'em up. I don't think there are any demand factors for a greenhouse, besides possibly in Part V of Article 220.
